COL BKB: Georgetown 55, Villanova 53

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Jonathan Wallace made two free throws after a foul call 75 feet from the basket in the last second Monday to give No. 8 Georgetown a 55-53 win over Villanova.

A game with 38 fouls featured a slight bump with the game seemingly headed for overtime. Scottie Reynolds had the ball knocked free and Wallace appeared to be dribbling to an overtime but a foul was called.

Georgetown (20-3, 10-2 Big East) extended its home winning streak to 18 games.

Wallace finished with 15 points, while Roy Hibbert added 13 and DaJuan Summers had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Hoyas.

Reynolds led all scorers with 24 points and Dante Cunningham added nine for the Wildcats (14-9, 4-7), who had won their previous six meetings with the Hoyas in Washington.

Wallace's three-pointer had given the Hoyas a 53-49 with 2:12 remaining,
