COL BKB: Vanderbilt 67, Georgia 59

ATHENS, Ga., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Alex Gordon made four three-point shots and led a balanced attack Wednesday in boosting No. 20 Vanderbilt to a 67-59 win over Georgia.

Gordon scored 14 points, Shan Foster and Ross Neltner both had 13 for the Commodores and A.J. Ogilvy delivered 12. Vanderbilt improved to 19-4 for the season and to 4-4 in the Southeastern Conference.

Georgia (11-9, 2-5) was led by Sundiata Gaines and Jeremy Price with 16 points each. After winning their first 10 home games this season, the Bulldogs have lost their last two.

Vanderbilt led the entire second half, but that advantage was trimmed to one point with just over three minutes remaining. The Commodores then finished the game with a 9-2 run that began with a three-pointer from Ogilvy.

The Bulldogs missed all five of their field goal attempts over the final 2:31.
