BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- The teenage son of New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas, a student at Indiana University, has been charged with underage drinking, a report said.

Officers said Thomas became unruly when he was asked how his eye was injured. He was charged with disorderly conduct and alcohol-related misdemeanors.

Thomas allegedly threw up and passed out in a police car after he was removed from the hospital early Tuesday morning.

Isiah Thomas was a basketball star at Indiana University a quarter century ago, helping the Hoosiers take the NCAA championship in 1981.

The younger Thomas, a freshman at the university, performs as a disc jockey under the name "DJ Zeke." He has appeared at clubs in Manhattan, the newspaper said.
