NHL: Nashville 1, Dallas 0

DALLAS, Jan. 1 (UPI) -- Dan Ellis posted his third shutout of the season and J.P. Dumont had the Nashville Predators' only goal Monday in a 1-0 win over the Dallas Stars.

Ellis stopped 22 shots in the match and Alexander Radulov added an assist for Nashville, which has won two of three. The Predators hadn't won in Dallas since 2003.

Marty Turco made 29 saves for Dallas, which had a four-game win streak broken.
