NBA: Charlotte 98, Utah 92

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Gerald Wallace scored 26 points and Charlotte rallied in the fourth quarter Wednesday to down Utah 98-92.

The Bobcats went on a 24-4 run in the final period to halt a two-game losing streak. Jason Richardson contributed 24 points and both Raymond Felton and Nazr Mohammed had 17.

The game featured 24 lead changes, but Utah pulled away in the third period in a bid to win for only the second time in nine outings. The Jazz had an 82-72 lead with 7:48 left before the Bobcats embarked on their comeback.

Felton put Charlotte in front for good at 87-86 on a three-point play with 3:24 to go. The Bobcats hit 11 of 12 attempts from the free throw line in the final three minutes.

Carlos Boozer led the Jazz with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Deron Williams had 20.
