NBA: New York 94, New Jersey 86

NEW YORK, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Jamal Crawford scored 32 points Saturday to lead the New York Knicks past New Jersey 94-86, ending a five-game Knicks' losing streak.

New York's Eddy Curry had 23 points and nine rebounds, one night after he was held scoreless in a 101-96 loss at Chicago. Zach Randolph had 20 points and 13 rebounds and Crawford became the first New York player this season to score at least 30 points in a game.

The Knicks broke a six-game home skid against the Nets, beating them for the first time at Madison Square Garden since March 19, 2004.

They trailed 24-18 after the first quarter, but led 42-38 at halftime, a lead which stood until the end.

New Jersey got 24 points and seven assists from Vince Carter. Jason Kidd totaled 18 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals, while Richard Jefferson had 14 points and six rebounds for the Nets -- who have lost five of their last six games.
