NBA: Chicago 101, New York 96

CHICAGO, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Luol Deng scored 27 points and Kirk Hinrich notched a triple-double Friday, pacing the Chicago Bulls to a 101-96 victory over the New York Knicks.

Deng also collared 10 rebounds in helping the Bulls win for the sixth time in their last nine games.

Hinrich had 15 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds -- Chicago's first triple-double in more than two years. Andres Nocioni added 17 points for the Bulls.

The Knicks have lost five straight games.

Zach Randolph led New York with 27 points.
