PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Samuel Dalembert scored 20 points and the Philadelphia 76ers pulled away late Friday to defeat New York 101-90.
The game was tied with three minutes left in the third period, but the 76ers took control from there to end a three-game losing streak.
The teams will play again Saturday in New York.
Jamal Crawford led the Knicks with 28 points. He scored all but six of the 23 points New York managed in the fourth period.
The Knicks have won just once on the road this season.
