CHICAGO, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Brendan Morrison scored the winning goal 3:11 into the third period Wednesday and Roberto Luongo protected the lead, giving Vancouver a 3-2 win over Chicago.
The Canucks won for the fourth time in five games. Mattias Ohlund and Byron Ritchie also scored for Vancouver. Luongo made 25 saves.

The Chicago goals came from Martin Lapointe and Martin Havlat.
Morrison scored when his shot deflected off the stick of Chicago defenseman Andrei Zyuzin and past Nikolai Khabibulin on the short side.
Ohland's goal was the 83rd of his career, tying the Vancouver record for a defenseman.
This was Vancouver's fifth straight win in Chicago, which had a five-game home winning streak snapped.
