NFL: Dallas 34, N.Y. Jets 3

IRVING, Texas, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Tony Romo threw two touchdown passes Thursday afternoon as the Dallas Cowboys trounced the New York Jets, 34-3.

Dallas led 21-3 at the half, and coasted in its annual Thanksgiving Day contest at Texas Stadium because the overmatched Jets never mounted a challenge.

Romo equaled a Cowboys season record with his 29th touchdown pass this season, and completed 21-of-28 for 195 yards with one interception.

Terrell Owens scored once on six catches for 65 yards, Jason Witten scored once on four catches for 54 yards and Marion Barber scored once on 18 carries for 103 yards, as Dallas extended its winning streak to five games and rose to 10-1 for the first time in franchise history.

New York's Kellen Clemens was 12-for-27 for 142 yards, no touchdowns and one interception.

Kicker Mike Nugent booted a 40-yard second-quarter field goal, while running back Thomas Jones was limited to 40 yards on 17 carries for the Jets, who sank to 2-9.
