MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Lebron James scored 45 points Wednesday, propelling the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 97-86 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

James also had eight rebounds and five assists, and Drew Gooden contributed 17 points and nine rebounds.

Minnesota has lost eight of nine games this season.

Al Jefferson had 30 points and eight rebounds for the Timberwolves.

James has scored at least 40 points in 20 NBA games. He has hit 30 or more in five straight games against Minnesota.
