NBA: Orlando 111, Minnesota 103

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard fired in 28 points and snatched 16 rebounds Tuesday as the Orlando Magic logged a 111-103 victory over the winless Minnesota Timberwolves.

Rashard Lewis added 27 points as he hit seven of nine three-pointers. Carlos Arroyo scored 18 points for the Magic, who have won three of four to start the season.

Al Jefferson had 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have lost their first three games this season as they begin the post-Kevin Garnett era. Greg Buckner added 18 points for Minnesota, and Marko Jaric had 10 points and 10 assists off the bench for the Timberwolves.

The Magic led by 16 points early in the fourth quarter but the Timberwolves cut the gap to four points with 4:29 left to play.
