NBA: Houston 89, San Antonio 81

HOUSTON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 28 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday, carrying the Houston Rockets to an 89-81 victory over the San Antonio Spurs.

Bonzi Wells added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the Rockets, who have won four of their first five games.

Manu Ginobili scored 23 points for the Spurs, who lost their first game of the season after three consecutive victories.

Tim Duncan had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Tony Parker 17 points for the Spurs.
