COL FB: Oklahoma 17, Iowa State 7

AMES, Iowa, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- D.J. Wolfe intercepted a deflected pass in the end zone with under seven minutes remaining Saturday as fourth-ranked Oklahoma beat Iowa State 17-7.

When Wolfe made his game-changing play, the Sooners led 14-7 after an early 7-0 deficit.

Running back Chris Brown scored both Oklahoma touchdowns and finished with 56 yards on 13 rushes.

DeMarco Murray gained 59 yards on nine attempts, and quarterback Sam Bradford went 16-for-28 for 183 yards and one interception for the Sooners (7-1, 3-1 Big 12), who ran their winning streak against the Cyclones to 11 in a row.

Iowa State quarterback Bret Meyer completed 19 of 31 passes for 174 yards and the costly interception.

Running back Jason Scales was limited to 46 yards on 22 carries, but ran for one score. Marquis Hamilton nabbed seven passes for 88 yards for the Cyclones (1-7, 0-4), who suffered their fifth straight loss.
