MLB: LA Dodgers 10, Washington 9 (12 inn.)

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- Shea Hillenbrand's 12th-inning sacrifice fly Wednesday afternoon gave the LA Dodgers a 10-9 win over Washington, and a sweep of the three-game series.

Hillenbrand had two hits and two RBI, and James Loney had a run, two hits and four RBI, as the Dodgers rallied from an early 5-1 deficit. Russell Martin and Jeff Kemp added solo homers, and Kent had two runs and four hits, as the Dodgers extended their winning streak to four games.

The winner was Scott Proctor (5-5).

Washington’s Nook Logan had two hits and three RBI. Robert Fick had two hits, including a solo homer in the sixth, and two RBI.

Ryan Church had four hits and one RBI, while Jesus Flores had two runs, three hits and one RBI for the Nationals, who dropped their sixth straight game.

The losing pitcher was Saul Rivera (4-5).
