MLB: Cleveland 6. Minnesota 5

CLEVELAND, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Travis Hafner hit a two-run homer early and the Cleveland Indians scored two runs in the eighth inning Tuesday to hold off the Minnesota Twins 6-5.

Asdrubal Cabrera singled in the go-ahead run in the fifth inning and Grady Sizemore added a solo homer for the AL Central-leading Indians, who have won four in a row and six of their last seven games.

Minnesota's Brian Buscher had three hits, including his first career homer. Jason Tyner had four hits and scored twice for the Twins, who fell 7 1/2 games behind the AL Central-leading Indians.

Jake Westbrook (5-7) scattered 10 hits and allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings to get the win. Joe Borowski earned his 38th save despite allowing two runs in the ninth.

Boof Bonser (6-11) yielded five hits and four runs over seven innings to suffer his ninth loss in his last 10 decisions.
