EVIAN-LES-BAINS, France, July 27 (UPI) -- Diana D'Lessio shot a four-under 68 Friday to share the lead with Jin Joo Hong after two rounds of the Evian Masters women's golf tournament in France.
D'Lessio made up two strokes on Hong from the first round and had a 36-hole total of seven-under-par 137. Annika Sorenstam, who shot 69 Friday, Jeong Jang and Brittani Lincicome were tied for third at four-under-par 140.
D'Lessio opened with a birdie and dropped to five-under for the tournament with a birdie on No. 5. She added birdies at 11 and 15 and finished without a bogey.
Hong started the day at 5-under and dropped to minus-seven with birdies at Nos. 5 and 9. She answered a bogey on 10 with a birdie at 11. But she gave a stroke back at the 13th hole and pulled into a tie with D'Alessio with a 30-foot birdie putt at No. 16.
Lincicome was one of three golfers tied for the Thursday lead at six-under. But she turned in a 74 on Friday and first-round co-leaders Pat Hurst and Eun Hee Ji each turned on four-over 76s and fell into a tie for 14th.
