MLB: Colorado 12, Tampa Bay 2

DENVER, June 15 (UPI) -- Matt Holliday had three hits and four RBI Friday night while Rodrigo Lopez remained unbeaten as the Colorado Rockies whipped Tampa Bay, 12-2.

Lopez improved to 3-0, giving up two runs on eight hits in six innings.

Jeremy Affeldt, Manny Corpas and Tom Martin blanked Tampa Bay over the last three innings.

Colorado won its third straight to move a game above .500.

Garrett Atkins added a two-run homer and Willie Taveras had three hits.

The Rockies handed James Shields his first loss of the season. Shields (6-1) gave up six hits and five runs in six innings.

Tampa Bay reliever Shawn Camp retired only one batter while giving up four runs.
