MLB: Chicago Cubs 7, Milwaukee 2

MILWAUKEE, June 4 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano went 5-for-5 -- including a three-run homer in a five-run seventh -- powering the Chicago Cubs to a 7-2 win Monday over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Soriano was the only player with multiple hits for Chicago. Aramis Ramirez, Derrek Lee, Cesar Izturis and Cliff Floyd each drove in a run for the Cubs, who have won consecutive games for the first time since May 18-19.

Chicago Manager Lou Piniella served the second game of his four-game league-imposed suspension. Piniella was suspended for his tirade with an umpire Saturday.

Prince Fielder hit his league-leading 20th homer for the Brewers.

Carlos Marmol (1-0) got the win in relief of starter Jason Marquis. Marmol retired the two batters he faced after Marquis allowed two runs -- one earned -- on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Bush (3-6) took the loss, yielding four runs on seven hits in six-plus innings.
