MLB: Florida 5, Milwaukee 2

MILWAUKEE, June 2 (UPI) -- Josh Willingham hit a two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning Saturday night as the Florida Marlins beat Milwaukee, 5-2.

Miguel Cabrera also had a two-run homer among his two hits, while Hanley Ramirez broke a 2-2 tie with an RBI single before Willingham's blast for the Marlins, who overcame an early 1-0 deficit and stopped a two-game skid.

The winner was reliever Matt Lindstrom (1-2).

Kevin Gregg earned his seventh save.

Milwaukee starter Chris Capuano and Corey Hart hit solo homers.

Craig Counsell had two of the seven hits for the Brewers, who have split their last four games.

The losing pitcher was Jose Capellan (0-1).

Florida starter Byung-Hyun Kim surrendered an earned run and just three hits in six innings, with two walks and three strikeouts.

Capuano gave up two earned runs and three hits in seven innings, with three walks and 10 strikeouts.
