MLB: Chi. Cubs 4, LA Dodgers 2

LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- Aramis Ramirez and Mark DeRosa hit solo homers Saturday afternoon to help the Chicago Cubs beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 4-2.

The homers were back-to-back off starter Mark Hendrickson in the top of the second.

Matt Murton and Cesar Izturis both had a run and two hits, Alfonso Soriano and Henry Blanco had one RBI each, and Ramirez had two hits for the Cubs, who had dropped four of their previous five games.

Winner Carlos Zambrano (5-4) surrendered two earned runs and eight hits in 7 2/3 innings, with one walk and eight strikeouts.

Ryan Dempster earned his 11th save of the season.

Wilson Betemit hit a solo homer, Nomar Garciaparra hit an RBI single, while Andre Ethier and Juan Pierre had two hits each for the Dodgers, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Hendrickson (2-2) yielded four earned runs and nine hits in five innings.
