MLB: Philadelphia 8, Atlanta 3

ATLANTA, May 25 (UPI) -- Greg Dobbs, Chase Utley and Ryan Howard all knocked in two runs Friday night as the Philadelphia Phillies clipped Atlanta, 8-3.

Howard's two-run double in the top of the eighth made up for his two-run fielding error in the bottom of the sixth.

Jimmy Rollins had three runs and two hits; Jayson Werth hit a solo homer; Shane Victorino had one run, three hits and one RBI; Dobbs had two hits; while starter and winner Jamie Moyer had a run and two hits for the Phillies -- who have split their last eight games.

Moyer (5-3) gave up three runs -- two earned -- and five hits in seven innings.

Jeff Francoeur and Matt Diaz both had one RBI, and five players had one hit for the Braves, who have split their last four.

Losing pitcher Tim Hudson (5-3) yielded five earned runs and 10 hits in 6 2/3 innings.
