MARBELLA, Spain, May 11 (UPI) -- Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa shot 67 for the second straight round Friday to move a shot in front at the Valle Romano Open de Andalucia.
Oosthuizen completed 36 holes at the Aloha Golf Club with a 10-under 134.
First-round leader Matthew Zions fired a 70 Friday and wound up tied for second with Francois Delamontagne and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano at 135.
Lee Westwood was at 136 after firing a course-record 64. Among those who had previously shot a 65 on the course was Zions, who did so in the opening round Thursday.
One of Oosthuizen's playing partners for the first two rounds was 1996 U.S. Open champ Steve Jones, who shot a 67 to tie Westwood after two rounds.
"He (Oosthuizen) is going to be the one to catch the way he is playing," Jones said.
