LOS ANGELES, April 21 (UPI) -- Randy Wolf scattered an earned run and six hits over six innings Friday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers trounced Pittsburgh, 10-2
. Wolf helped his cause with a a two-run double that capped a six-run third inning.
Luis Gonzalez also drove in two runs with two hits, Nomar Garciaparra hit a two-run single, Andre Ethier hit a sacrifice fly, Jeff Kent drove in a run, while Juan Pierre had three runs and three hits for the NL West-leading Dodgers, who have won three of four.
Wolf (3-1) walked one batter and struck out 10.
Xavier Nady hit a first inning RBI single, the other run scored on his double play groundout in the eighth, and Jason Bay had two hits for the Pirates, who have a three-game losing streak.
Losing pitcher Tony Armas Jr., was torched for eight earned runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings.
