NBA: Golden State 121, Minnesota 108

OAKLAND, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson had 32 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists Sunday, as the Golden State Warriors beat Minnesota, 121-108.

Al Harrington scored 18 points and Baron Davis had 17 for the Warriors, who won their third straight game and their seventh out of eight -- and lead the LA Clippers by one game for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff berth.

Ricky Davis led the Timberwolves with 42 points. Craig Smith had 14 points and 12 rebounds for Minnesota, which has lost five straight and nine out of 11.

The Warriors took control in the first quarter, scoring 26 of the period's final 38 points. The Timberwolves climbed back to within nine points in the second period, but Golden State went on a 14-3 tear and took a 68-50 lead at the half.
