NBA: Denver 120, Sacramento 115

DENVER, April 5 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony had 31 points and eight rebounds Wednesday night to help Denver turn back Sacramento, 120-115.

Denver had a 71-50 lead at halftime, but Sacramento closed to within 99-90 after scoring 11 of the fourth quarter's first 15 points.

Nene Hilario had 28 points and 12 rebounds; Allen Iverson and J.R. Smith scored 16 points apiece; and Marcus Camby had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets, who remain seventh in the Western Conference playoff race after their third straight win.

Ron Artest led Sacramento with 32 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Kevin Martin had 26 points and four assists; Mike Bibby had 14 points, five rebounds, and nine assists; and Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Kings, who have dropped four in a row and seven of eight overall.
