NBA: Seattle 85, Minnesota 82

SEATTLE, March 23 (UPI) -- Chris Wilcox made two free throws with 13 seconds remaining for a four-point lead and Seattle held on to down Minnesota Friday night, 85-82.

The Timberwolves fell 3 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Rashard Lewis scored 20 points and Wilcox had 15 for Seattle, which rallied from a seven-point deficit to start the fourth period. Craig Smith led Minnesota with 19.

It was the final game of a five-game Minnesota road trip, on which it went 1-4.
