NHL: Vancouver 4, Detroit 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, March 18 (UPI) -- Lukas Krajicek had a goal and an assist Saturday night as Vancouver topped the Detroit Red Wings, 4-1.

Bryan Smolinski, Brendan Morrison and Trevor Linden also scored goals; Daniel Sedin and Matt Cooke both had two assists; and Roberto Luongo stopped 33 of 34 shots for the Canucks, who have won four of their last six games to overtake Minnesota and assume first place in the Northwest Division with 92 points, one better than the Wild.

Pavel Datsyuk scored the only goal; while Dominik Hasek made 35 saves on 38 shots for the Red Wings, who fell to second place in the Central Division and into fourth spot in the Western Conference playoff race.
