NHL: Anaheim 4, Vancouver 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 12 (UPI) -- Teemu Selanne scored two power play goals Sunday night to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Andy McDonald also scored twice; Francois Beauchemin had three assists; and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 24 of 26 shots for the Ducks, who had a 3-1 lead after the first period as McDonald scored his goals and Selanne scored once.

Selanne leads the league with 22 power play goals.

Brent Sopel and Alexandre Burrows each scored one goal; while Roberto Luongo was beaten four times on 24 shots for the Canucks, who had a five-game winning streak broken.

Despite the loss, Vancouver has a two-point lead over Minnesota for first place in the Northwest Division.

The two teams have a contest at Vancouver Tuesday night.
