Haas takes lead at Toshiba Classic

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., March 10 (UPI) -- Jay Haas shot a 7-under 64 Saturday to take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Toshiba Classic.

Haas is at 13-under 129 after 36 holes.

Peter Jacobsen, playing one week after from laser back surgery, also had a 64 in the second round and is in second place at 130.

R.W. Eaks, one of six co-leaders after the first round, posted a 66 Saturday and is third at 11-under 131.

Ben Crenshaw, also a co-leader from Friday, shot a 67 as he seeks his first Champions Tour win. He is tied for fourth place at 132 with Joe Ozaki, who shot a 64.
