NASHVILLE, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Peter Forsberg scored 2:11 into overtime Saturday night as the Nashville Predators overcame a Tomas Holmstrom hat trick to defeat Detroit, 4-3.
Tomas Vokoun made 41 saves for the Predators, who got two regulation goals from Paul Kariya and one from David Legwand.

The Red Wings have lost two straight following a three-game winning streak. Holmstrom's hat trick was the third of his career.
Nashville pulled even with Detroit for the lead in the Central Division. Both teams have 86 points.
