OTTAWA, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Dean McAmmond scored the game-winning goal in the shootout as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-3, Tuesday.

The Senators survived a late rally, giving up a 3-1 lead with under five minutes to play, only winning in the shootout. Ottawa now has won five straight games.

Dany Heatley, Mike Fisher and Daniel Alfredsson scored in regulation for Ottawa, while Martin Gerber made 27 saves,
