NHL: Toronto 4, Philadelphia 2

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Mats Sundin had a goal and an assist Thursday night to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs past the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2.

Jeff O'Neill, Nik Antropov and Carlo Colaiacovo scored in the first period to give Toronto a 3-0 lead at the first intermission.

Sundin's goal came in the third period and gave Toronto a 4-1 advantage. Andrew Raycroft made 34 saves on 36 shots for the Maple Leafs, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Simon Gagne had a goal and an assist, Mike Knuble scored and Michael Leighton started in goal for Philadelphia, but was pulled after giving up three goals on 12 shots.

In relief, Antero Niittymaki made 19 saves on 20 shots for the Flyers, who had won their previous two games.

Before the game, the Flyers dealt veteran center Peter Forsberg to Nashville for right wing Scottie Upshall, defenseman Ryan Parent and first- and third-round draft picks in the 2007 entry draft.
