NBA: LA Lakers 111, Boston 98

BOSTON, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- A refreshed Kobe Bryant scored 43 points Wednesday night to lead the Los Angeles Lakers past Boston, 111-98.

The Celtics which tied a franchise record with their 13th straight loss.

Bryant sat out Tuesday night's 99-94 loss at New York while serving a one-game suspension for elbowing San Antonio's Manu Ginobili Sunday.

Smush Parker scored 19 points Wednesday night. Vladimir Radmanovic had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists; Lamar Odom had 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists; while Bryant also had eight assists, eight rebounds and two blocked shots for the Lakers, who rolled to a 57-49 halftime lead, never trailed, and snapped a three-game losing streak.

Ryan Gomes led Boston with 23 points and seven rebounds, and Gerald Green had 22 points, three rebounds and five assists. Brian Scalabrine scored a season-high 17 points, and Al Jefferson added 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Celtics, who have not won since a 128-119 victory over Memphis Jan. 5.
