NBA: Phoenix 98, Milwaukee 90

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Raja Bell had 27 points and two assists Friday night and the Phoenix Suns won a team-record 16th straight game, beating the Milwaukee Bucks, 98-90.

Amare Stoudamire had 21 points and nine rebounds, and Steve Nash had 18 points, six rebounds and 16 assists for Phoenix. Shawn Marion had 11 points and 23 rebounds, and Boris Diaw added 11 points and three rebounds for the Suns, who have won 34 of their last 37 games since starting the season with five losses in their first six games.

Phoenix had a 73-59 advantage with 4:37 left in the third quarter after a slim 52-50 halftime lead.

Charlie Bell led the Bucks with 21 points, six rebounds and two steals. Earl Boykins had 18 points and four assists.

Ersan Ilyasova had 13 points and seven rebounds, Andrew Bogut had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Charlie Villanueva added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Bucks, who suffered their sixth straight loss.
