Bryan brothers bag Aussie doubles crown

MELBOURNE, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- The top-seeded team of Bob and Mike Bryan won the men's doubles title at the Australian Open Saturday for the second consecutive year.

The 28-year-old twin brothers playing in their fourth straight Australian Open final dispatched second-seeded Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi, 7-5, 7-5.

The loss for Bjorkman and Mirnyi slowed down their rise in the doubles arena. The duo began playing together in 2005 and has won the doubles title at the French Open and placed second at the U.S. Open.
