BALTIMORE, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Baltimore's Ray Lewis was added to the AFC Pro Bowl team Wednesday, marking the eighth time the linebacker has been selected for the NFL all-star game.

Lewis heads to Hawaii as a replacement for Denver linebacker Al Wilson, who was selected as a first alternate but will miss the game because of injury.

Lewis played in 14 games this season and led the Ravens with 164 tackles. He also had five sacks and two interceptions and missed two games because of a back injury.

Lewis is the fifth Ravens' player to be tabbed for the AFC's All-Pro team this year. Safety Ed Reed, cornerback Chris McAlister and linebackers Adalius Thomas and Terrell Suggs were also picked. Baltimore offensive lineman Johnathan Ogden is also an All-Pro selection.

The NFL Pro Bowl is scheduled for Feb. 10 in Honolulu.
