NBA: Detroit 98, Philadelphia 89

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Tayshaun Prince scored a career-high 33 points Tuesday to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 98-89 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Richard Hamilton added 22 points and Ronald Murray had 12 points and 12 assists for the Pistons, who have won 10 of the last 11 meetings against the Sixers.

Samuel Dalembert had 14 points and 17 rebounds for Philadelphia, which suffered its fourth loss in its last five games. Willie Green added 16 points off the bench.

Hamilton and Prince combined for 19 points n the third quarter with Hamilton getting a dozen of those.
