COLLEGE STATION, Texas, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Acie Law and Antanas Kavaliauskas scored 22 and 20 points respectively Tuesday as 11th-ranked Texas A&M defeated Winthrop, 71-51.
Law had eight assists and Kavaliauskas 10 rebounds for the Aggies (12-2), who have won five in a row after losing back-to-back games to LSU and UCLA.

Josh Carter had 15 points with five assists for Texas A&M.
Michael Jenkins scored 13 points and Taj McCullough had 12 for the Eagles (10-4), who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.
