WASHINGTON, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- It was another big night for Gilbert Arenas Tuesday as he scored 31 points to lead the Washington Wizards to a 116-101 win over Memphis.
Arenas, who was averaging 30 points per game heading into the contest, was 9-of-13 from the field as the Wizards for ninth time in the past 11 games.

Antawn Jamison scored 26 for Washington while Alexander Johnson had 23 points and 10 rebounds for visiting Memphis. The Grizzlies lost their fourth in a row.
