NFL: Dallas 38, Atlanta 28

ATLANTA, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Marion Barber's two second-half TD runs highlighted a run of 17 straight points Saturday night as the Dallas Cowboys came from behind to beat Atlanta, 38-28.

Tony Romo completed 22-of-29 passes for 278 yards with two touchdowns and one interception for the NFC East leading Cowboys (9-5) -- who have a 1 1/2 game lead over both the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants, who meet Sunday.

The Cowboys can clinch a playoff berth in the NFC Sunday with a Minnesota loss or tie, in addition to a New Orleans win or tie or a Carolina loss or tie.

Barber finished with 69 yards rushing and Terrell Owens had five receptions for 69 yards and two TDs.

The Falcons' (7-7) playoff hopes took a significant hit with the loss. The Falcons fell 2 1/2 games behind the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.

Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick completed 16-of-24 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns before taking himself out of the game with under two minutes to go with an aggravated groin.
