NFL: Cincinnati 27, Oakland 10

CINCINNATI, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer threw two TD passes Sunday afternoon, and Cincinnati took a 14-0 first-quarter lead on the way to a 27-10 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

The early lead came on Palmer's eight-yard touchdown pass to Chris Henry, and Rudi Johnson's nine-yard TD run.

Oakland got a 33-yard field goal from Sebastian Janikowski to make the score 14-3 at the half. Johnson scored his second touchdown on a six-yard run to give the Bengals a 21-3 lead in the third quarter.

Johnson gained 117 yards on 30 carries. Palmer completed 20 of 28 passes for 297 yards and the two touchdowns -- but also three interceptions.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh picked up 188 yards and one TD on eight receptions, and Chad Johnson had five catches for 101 yards for the Bengals (8-5), who have won their last four games.

Ronald Curry caught a fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Aaron Brooks and made eight catches for 99 yards for the Raiders (2-11).
