NHL: Detroit 4, St. Louis 3 (OT)

DETROIT, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- An unassisted goal by Pavel Datsyuk at 3:23 of overtime Thursday night gave Detroit a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues.

Petr Cajanek scored twice in the first period to put St. Louis up, 2-0, after the first 20 minutes.

Dallas Drake's goal less than a minute into the second period gave St. Louis a 3-0 lead before Nicklas Lidstrom and Jason Williams scored goals, cutting Detroit's deficit to 3-2 heading into the second intermission.

Daniel Cleary's power-play goal at 4:33 of the third tied the score at 3-3 and sent the contest into the extra period.

Dominik Hasek gave up three goals on 21 shots for the Red Wings, who have won four of their last five games.

Jason Bacashihua was beaten four times on 43 shots for the Blues, whose losing streak grew to six games.
