NFL: Cleveland 31, Kansas City 28 (OT)

CLEVELAND, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Phil Dawson kicked a 33-yard field goal at 7:25 in overtime Sunday to give Cleveland a 31-28 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Browns rallied from a 28-14 fourth quarter deficit behind reserve quarterback Derek Anderson. After replacing the injured Charlie Frye, Anderson threw two touchdown passes and also ripped off a 33-yard run in the overtime.

Reuben Droughns scored a touchdown on 70 yards on 14 carries, and Steve Heiden caught two touchdown passes for the Browns (4-8), who were trounced, 30-0, by Cincinnati last Sunday.

Frye left the game early in the second quarter with a right wrist injury.

Trent Green threw four touchdown passes for Kansas City. Eddie Kennison scored once on seven catches for 117 yards, Tony Gonzalez caught two touchdown passes, and Larry Johnson rushed for 110 yards on 28 carries for the Chiefs (7-5), who lost their third straight game.
