NBA: Houston 85, Memphis 76

HOUSTON, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Yao Ming had 28 points and eight rebounds Saturday night as the Houston Rockets beat Memphis, 85-76.

Tracy McGrady had 19 points and 13 assists, as the Rockets won their fourth straight game.

Memphis had five players score in double-figures, led by Hakim Warrick with 12 points, but failed in its bid to win consecutive games for the first time this season. Rudy Gay and Chucky Atkins each scored 11 points for the Grizzlies, while Mike Miller and Brian Cardinal each scored 10.

Houston outscored Memphis, 28-15, in the third quarter. Yao hit three straight baskets and McGrady dropped in three points in a 9-2 run that broke open a close game.

Both teams were cold from beyond the three-point arc. Memphis hit just 3-of-12 shots (25 percent), while the Rockets were just 8-of-27 (29.6 percent).
