NHL: Toronto 7, Washington 1

WASHINGTON, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Jeff O'Neill and Darcy Tucker each scored a goal and had two assists Friday night as Toronto ripped the Washington Capitals, 7-1.

Mike Peca, Hal Gill and Matt Stajan all had a goal and an assist; while Andrew Raycroft made 22 saves on 23 shots for the Maple Leafs, who have won two of their last three games.

Alexander Ovechkin scored a power play goal in the first period after assists by Richard Zednik and Mike Green for the Capitals, whose losing streak grew to five straight games.

On the power play, Toronto went 3-for-5; and Washington was 1-for-6.

The Maple Leafs scored three times in one minute in the second period.
