NFL: Miami 27, Detroit 10

DETROIT, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Joey Harrington threw three TD passes Thursday afternoon as the Miami Dolphins rallied to beat his former team, Detroit, 27-10, for their fourth straight win.

Harrington, who was the Lions' top draft pick in 2002 out of Oregon, completed 19 of 29 passes for 213 yards. He threw one interception.

His 8-yard scoring pass to Marty Booker with 2:37 left in the first quarter brought the Dolphins within 10-7. It was the first time all season the Dolphins scored a first-quarter touchdown.

Sammy Morris gained 91 yards on 12 carries for Miami. Ronnie Brown added 68 yards on 15 carries, Booker scored twice and picked up 115 yards on seven catches, and Randy McMichael caught a touchdown pass for the Dolphins (5-6).

Jon Kitna went 22-for-40 for 252 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Lions. Roy Williams caught six passes for 126 yards, mostly in the first half, and Detroit gained only 21 net yards rushing in its third straight loss.
