ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Mike Hart rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to carry the third-ranked Michigan Wolverines to a 20-6 win over the No. 23 Iowa Hawkeyes.
Chad Henne was 23-of-33 passing for 203 yards with an interception for the Wolverines (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten), who have won nine of their last 11 meetings with Iowa. Adrian Arrington had eight receptions for 79 yards.
Iowa's Drew Tate was 21-of-36 passing for 197 yards and was sacked five times. Dominique Douglas caught six passes for 63 yards for the Hawkeyes (5-3, 2-3), who have lost three of their last four games.
After a scoreless first quarter that featured four punts and a fumble by Tate, the two teams added two more punts in the second before Michigan broke the scoreless tie with a field goal.
