UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Fourth-ranked Michigan defeated Penn State 17-10 Saturday as Mike Hart ran for 112 yards and a touchdown.

For Michigan, Chad Henne completed 15-of-30 passes, Adrian Arrington had five receptions for 83 yards and a TD, while Steve Breaston also had five receptions for 79 yards.
Anthony Morelli completed 11-of-18 passes for 133 yards for the Nittany Lions (4-3, 2-2), who lost for the first time in three games. The Nittany Lions quarterback was knocked out of the game early in the third quarter, after what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet hit from Alan Branch. His status is unknown.
Tony Hunt rushed for 33 yards and added another 85 receiving yards with a touchdown.
