MLB: San Francisco 7, Colorado 4

DENVER, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Barry Bonds knocked in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the top of the eighth inning Wednesday afternoon as San Francisco beat Colorado, 7-4.

Moises Alou hit a solo home run and a two-run double; Todd Greene had one run and two hits, including a two-run triple; Ray Durham hit an RBI double; and Todd Linden had a run and two hits for the Giants (75-76), who won for only the fourth time in their last 10 games.

In relief, the winner was Brian Wilson (2-3).

Mike Stanton recorded his eighth save in 10 chances for San Francisco.

Brad Hawpe hit a three-run triple, Matt Holliday hit an RBI double, and Todd Helton had a run and two hits for the Rockies (71-81), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

The losing pitcher was reliever Manuel Corpas (1-2).
